Well actually this is round two. Our photographer is a friend that we love and she wanted to treat us once more! The quality might not be awesome, but thats because I "borrowed" them from her facebook page. So once I get the originals.....you can see more!

this is a QUICK...and i repeat QUICK mock up {sketchy/paint idea} of something caisee and i discussed for a cool save the date. IT IS ONLY AN IDEA! and don't mind the mess! like i said, i quickly painted it on some scrap paper then copied it on my crappy scanner. if the IDEA gets carried through, it will be much much nicer. basically it was just for fun.

hello blogger world! most of you might know me from my other blog, treeslikegiants. since i am recently engaged {okay...it's almost been 8 months already!} i decided that i would take a hiatus with that blog and start a new one to document my wedding adventure.

for those of you who actually know me, you know weddings are something i do....i dont plan. being in "the industry" {photography}, i have seen my fair share of amazing weddings...and pardon my french...but a lot of crappy ones too. even though i'm not the type of girl who has been planning her wedding since her barbie days, i can't help but admit that the more months that pass, the more ecstatic i have become concerning planning. i refuse to have a crappy wedding. haha.so when's the big day!?! good question. even though we swore not to have a long engagement...we are. haha. we are currently in the process of meeting with reception halls, so we haven't been able to set an official date. however, the plan is either for july 8th or 9th of 2011. school will be out. corey will have graduated. and it's two weeks after one of my bridesmaids weddings. we really would like to do a friday wedding so that it frees the weekend up still for people....especially beach-going visitors from out of state. we are also looking for churches, but nothing official yet. anyway, yeah....july 2011!

here is some inspiration that i have come across the past few days {and months!}....sorry that i don't have all of the sources for the pictures.

my cousin is a seamstress and is going to help me make these dresses for the bridesmaids. i really want to incorporate a lot of DIY details!

we want to get vintage masks for the "shoot station"/photobooth.
